metal metalcore hardcore new england music hard rock nobis melee xact records
For nearly four years, the members of Nobis (formerly Melee) have been scouring the infected ears of northern New England heavy metal fans. These ears, already tainted by the misleading interpretation of what modern day metal is all about, have taken greatly to the cleansing. An impressive resume of national acts including Anthrax, Life of Agony, Dog Fashion Disco, RA, Dry Kill Logic etc. compliments an already unmatched live assault of sonic power, leaving any attending a Nobis show walking away with a sense of fulfillment. Grammy Nominated Producer/Engineer, Joshua Wilbur, once again has teamed up with Nobis, this time for their first full-length effort, A Blurred Sense of Divine, due to hit the public in the summer of 2004 through Xact Records / OSK Productions. All it takes is one song for a listener to realize that Nobis is here to let their brand burn deep into the skin of the heavy music industry. Sit still, the pain is only temporary, the sound is forever.

Lyrics
Slight difference in opinion, regarding the direction, toward finding the right foundation A thousand times of outspoken assurance And still answers remain to all in question Open up your eyes, those in doubt tend to see the light Quicker than a new day relieving night Slight difference in opinion, regarding the direction, toward finding the right foundation Eight cheeks turn at the thought of conforming to the ideals of any Casting a shadow of a doubt Open up your eyes, those in doubt tend to see the light Quicker than a new day relieving night Shadow of doubt I’ve said time and again that failure is not an option for me to tolerate Binding promise to oneself holds its weight in gold May the sun shed light upon the shadow of doubt Slight difference in opinion, regarding the direction, toward finding the right foundation Destroy your disbelief Employ method to means Selfish, though it may seem Destroy, employ Eyes...open up your eyes, those in doubt tend to see the light Quicker than a new day relieving night Destroy your disbelief Employ method to means Selfish, though it may seem Destroy, employ
