NEI formed in 1998 and set out on a goal of creating music that is different than the rest of the industry, being influenced by gangsta rap, horror-core rap, grudge rock, metal, and many more like genres, with their gloomy, expressive, but positive lyrics those influences are obviously noticed with dark undertones in their music
