Mrcorbett is the musical alter ego of English Singer-Songwriter Warren Jenks, Mrcorbett is a quirky lyrical chap who loves to dabble in many styles of music.
Born few many moons ago, I've been writing songs since i was a wee nipper but only got brave enough to let others hear them when I was old enough not to worry if they were any good, luckily I've sold quite a few since and have performed live over a thousand times. What's even more amazing is that I never get bored of making up some new ones and trying them out on your fine ears! Any comments on my music are always gratefully received by Mrcorbett, and thank you for reading this if you got this far! fare thee well and bless ya fellow music fan :)

Story behind the song
Written after a very turbulent couple of years at a horrible job full of nasty bullies in suits and unworthy positions for their talent! Also having to fend off the local yobbos with no security provided by said suited dimwits! I remember the relief of finally telling them what I thought of them when I knew I had a new and proper job confirmed, this song was written shortly afterwards with my happy self now recovered! Deciding it needed a much more bluesy feel, I asked my friend and fellow Singer - Songwriter John Snocken to play slide and harmonica on it for me, which thankfully he agreed and laid down some terrific riffs and melody to what was turning out to be a really nice song to work on. One of those rare occasions when everything works, well for me it does, I hope you have a listen and agree with me!
