No band... just me.
***** Updated 9-10-2007 ***** 9/10/07 New song added to my Music page. I recently returned to the music business after retiring in 1985. I played professionally for 15 years prior to retiring. I've been working on my guitar/bass playing as well as my vocals for the past few years in hopes of starting or getting back into a consistant and professional band. Had a couple of projects that didn't work out (2005 & 2006) but I'm still hoping to run into the right folks. If I have to live in one genre it would be Southern Rock even though I also play & write Rock, Pop, and Country with a little Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Bluegrass thrown in for spice. When you listen to one of my songs in a way I have touched your life, that is very cool Also check out my MySpace site... http://www.myspace.com/mickradar or my SongRamp home... http://www.songramp.com/homepage.php?Who=Pops

Lyrics
A Civil War song about the last rebel... The Last (© 2004 Michael Adair) It seems so long since it happened It was so long ago We rose up in defiance As we felt the final blow But in the end we were just a few As they rounded up my friends They got my cousin, they got my uncle And most of my kin Yankees comin’ - they right outside of town Yankees comin’ - can’t you see them gather around Yankees comin’ - they’ll burn the place to the ground Yankees comin’ and lord its gotta go down They chase me up, they chase me down Don’t you know they chase me all around They chase me here, they chase me there Ah they gonna chase me everywhere… cause the… (Repeat Chorus) (Lead Break) I lost my buddy yesterday And now I am the last A victim or a memory How will they write my past But in the end we’re dead and gone Our cause we could not save At least I know we tried our best As they lay me in my grave (Repeat Chorus) Go down, Go down Go down, Go down Go down, Go down Go down
