Story behind the song
McCartney explained in 2005, that the guitar accompaniment for "Blackbird" was inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach's Bourrée in E minor, a well-known lute piece, often played on the classical guitar. Special thanks to TC Helicon for developing their excellent voice processor which enables me to incorporate harmony vocals into my one man band live performances.
