Really nice song! I like the clean slide too, reminds me of how David Lindley plays on Jackson Browne's tracks. Very nice acoustic song! Well played and recorded!

Beautiful song mate. Loved that nice clean slide work on the intro. Really nice job on the vocals all the way thru. The melody is sweet and the lyrics so true. Did you do the piano in this too? Very tasty! What dogs have had to endure at the hands of cruel humans over the ages is beyond comprehension... but thankfully there are many others that have had good lives in loving homes. Life can certainly be a double edged sword.
