I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Lyrics
My Balloon I woke up this morning, looking for my shoes, but they've gone into a worm-hole, and I wish it took my blues, I sigh and hum a minute, a simple cheerful tune, and try to get my senses back, and draw a smiley face on my balloon! And we're all formed of stellar dust, or so the scientists say, evolving up from simpler forms, which share our DNA, With galaxies and stellar drift, expanding all the time, I muse myself, as I dust my shelf, so glad I have a spine, (Which is very handy, and so is my prehensile thumb!) Wondering and wandering, with nothing much to do, my time and space is all over the place, perhaps I've got the flu? And people disappear, and portals do exist, Ambrose Bierce and the famous Mary Celeste, perhaps the worm-hole's got them all, spiraling round and round, if I give you back a penny, will you hand me that fine pound? (Repeat From Top)
