I've been playing music since I discovered the piano at age 3. While playing solo in the recording environment, I also play rock with "The Buffalo Joe Band", a decades-old band based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Story behind the song
This is inspired by driving across Hawai'i Island on the Saddle Road that lies between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Starting in the west in Paniolo country - the ranchlands of the Hawai'ian Cowboys, the song evokes a lively gallop. High on the road one often encounters clouds and misty rains, but eventually you enter the lush windward slopes, back into the sunshine.
