Lyrics
WALK IT BACK We know we promised on day one To repeal and replace. We tried and tried to get ‘er done, But it blew up in our face. Walk it back, walk it back, Walk it back, walk it back. We know we promised you a wall Like you’ve never seen before. Looks like we’ll have to ask you all To forget it, por favor. Walk it back, walk it back, Walk it back, walk it back. Put it right over there -- Next to REPEAL OBAMACARE We promised that we’d drain the swamp Sooner rather than later. Cue the circumstance and pomp While we feed the ‘gators. Walk it back, walk it back, Walk it back, walk it back. You don’t have to be very tall -- To put that promise on this wall We promised you fair tax reform, Lower and middle class. Instead, in keeping with the norm, The wealthy get a pass. Walk it back, walk it back, Walk it back, walk it back. Toss it up on that ledge -- Over by the swamp’s edge We never tire of sinning, Even on Congress’s floor. You’ll get so tired of winning, You’ll say no mas, no more. Walk it back, walk it back, Walk it back, walk it back. Put it there where I just swept, Over there where Jesus wept -- Right next to PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT We don’t think about gun control Don’t even try to beg us The NRA has bought our soul What happens in Vegas … Copyright © 2017 Lex Zaleta
