Story behind the song
This little ditty--a tongue-twister in the Key of G--answers the age-old question: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" At the same time it poses another, related, question: "How humane could humankind be if humankind could be kind?" The Bridge consists of a verse from the children's Sunday School song Be Careful Little Eyes What You See, twisted into a minor key to fit the theme. Enjoy!
