This longtime singer/songwriter has written in the genres of Alternative, Blues, Country, Easy Listening, Jazz, Holiday, Pop, Religious, Rock, R&B and Techno. In college Drew added to his resume by joining "MDP", a short lived but popular cover song band at Hofstra University for two years of "Battle of the Bands". In addition, Pizzulo also made musical guest appearances on the popular Hofstra TV comedy INVALID TNL". The show helped to create his first music video Dancing Alone, which would later become a YouTube fan favorite. As a solo artist by the end of 2024, Pizzulo has released 17 international albums of original material. His Internet chart success includes well over a dozen #1 hits, along with several other Top 10 singles on Betarecords.com, Pittradio.com and Radioindy.com. A former season 6 American Idol contestant, Drew has given hundreds of live performances of both original and cover material in the USA and international cruise lines. Story behind the song
Drew had contacted Melissa to record this cover to complete his 2017 release "Ballads Of Elton John". It was recorded on site into his Samsung Galaxy S5 active phone then mixed on the computer. It since has become the most popular song on the album and a classic in both of their catalogs.
