A quietly psychedelic dream song about a near death experience I had as a teen.

Story behind the song
As a teenager I feel 65 feet and broke my back in 4 places and several other bones. I had a near death experience, woke up and walked a couple miles back to the house in severe shock. About a week later I woke up in a body cast in the hospital. The whole thing was like a strange dream, so I wrote this song describing the dream.
Lyrics
Had a dream, one you wouldn't believe,
Moonbeams shined into my mind
Things long forgotten I began to see.
Fortune cast my fate to the wind
Though alone I had no fear
and I kissed the stars one last weary goodbye
Dreamt I saw old broken pieces of life
And motionless maidens of hope
Bathed in a clear pure blue light
Laughing at some cosmic joke
Wasn't stoned, didn't shed a tear
'cause what we are is quite unreal
My friend, Time, was showing me how to get back home
Though I really have none
I said, fine, you've showed me, but I'd rather be here
Together, with you, I am one
The dream, played on and on,
Seemed never to end
Floating on in golden sound,
music, your soul to bend
And the seasons passed before I came to.
I've finally awoken and my dream's come true
