The music of Lee Shapiro, which consists of a variety of styles and genres. I would appreciate if you "liked" or commented on any of the songs you enjoy.
My favorite kinds of music is the kind that surprises you. While I enjoy conventional type songs (verse, chorus, verse chorus, bridge, chorus), I prefer songs that take you on an adventure. This includes jam songs (Grateful Dead), and songs with many detours and lots of dynamics (Rickie Lee Jones, Dave Matthews). Although most of my songs tend to fall into some kind of normal verse/chorus formula, I do tend to try and mix things up a bit. Which is why most of my songs last longer than 4 or 5 minutes.

Story behind the song
*Through the magic of home studio audio production and technological trickery I've created this song to sound like a live recording in a big arena, complete with unintelligible stage ramblings. Technical Info: Three tracks of audience loops (applause, cheers, and ambient audience noise). Several reverb and delay efx used in individual tracks (drums, vocals), and another used on the master bus. Mixed to sound like something in between an audience recording and a soundboard tape. All instruments are "in the box", virtual instruments including Superior Drums 3, Scarbee Rickenbacker Bass, Blue3 Hammond organ, and Evolution Infinity lead guitar. Produced using Cakewalk's Sonar Platinum DAW at Wilson Creek Studios.
