This track has an orchestral beginning followed by a touch of Hip-Hop, descending into some dark Trip-Hop. Yet another track featuring my vocals. You'd think I would have learnt by now!!

Story behind the song
This track was entered into a Hip-Hop competition earlier this year. It achieved third place out of eleven entries. Hip-Hop is not really my strength, which is why I went down the Trip-Hop route. The lyrics in this song, in part, originate from 'Rack Of Ruin' which was a track that my first band 'Anathema Device' used to perform back in 1996/7.
Lyrics
Don’t you think it’s sad, that I came so far to fall A broken emblem of stardom, shuffling in the concert hall The papers said I didn’t have the decency to let it lie Once it was a mint, now I just get by In the frame, out the frame, in the media spotlight All the stupid things I’ve done, have become my birthright Once you got me pacified, you bled my soul dry Tungsten tongue of promises, a thousand lies in the blink of an eye Ever much the gifted child, with looks and attitude to match Sipping on champagne that now has turned to natch I had a mirror addiction, but I couldn’t see Now I’m a pale reflection of what I used to be.
