I always make music with no direction in mind. It might turn out to be drum&bass or ambient etc. I flick through samples until I find one that sparks some inspiration and then I'm away. Thats how this song came about, samples fit well with previous ones and the song takes form. In this case it sounds like a movie soundtrack perhaps?
