Lyrics
Six O'clock In The Morning [09/24/2017] [V] six o'clock in the morning on a late September day. up before the sunrise that's always been my way. greeted by those early birds as they begin to take wing. hear the last of the crickets, the melody that they sing. [C] all alone for the moment 'till some geese fly overhead. sip my tea while it's steaming while my house is still in bed. it's six o'clock in the morning quiet, cool and still. six o'clock in the morning and I don't mind the chill. break: [V] at six o'clock in the morning, there's not that much to see. little creatures are stirring through the grass, the air, and trees. the late mosquitoes are hungry as they buzz around my head. their song is not that soothing this better than being in bed. break: [V] the human world will awaken, people soon begin their day. This special time is fleeting their noise chases it away. each sound is a different tune a melody of its own. but I prefer the quiet song of natures overtone. Copyright © 2017 by Douglas Murphy
