Awesome melody..
that Sax is so well articulated, excellent VST & your hours of work with the TEC has paid off my friend ;)
superb emotional build, and excellent vocal vamp add-ons are a nice intro to the harmonies that follow.
then that guitar grabs hold and it's over way too soon.
Bravo!

Dear Mr. Falken...
Your song "Parisien Mistress" has the texture of a dream so laid-back and serene that it won't go away even in the light of day. The slow-motion funkiness of the rhythm is hypnotic. Where the instruments play together sounds like lyrics being sung.
This is moody, near mystical-sounding music production, sir. I've listened to it multiple times.
Thank you for treating our ears so kindly! How do I download it?
Sincerely,
LOREN

Hey Buddy, good to see and hear you taking a well deserved turn at the no. 1 Jazz spot. A "Parisien Mistress"? Well I'm a bit too long in the tooth to desire such a high maintenance thought these days :) but a cool idea :)

Well my friend, it was worth the wait, finally, a new track. Impeccable production. The (Fishman?) sax is awesome. The vocal bits add a layer of sophistication and the reverb is very nice. I like the percussion track - an approach I've tried on some of mine but very nicely done here. Nicely placed and played guitar solo at the end. I agree on the pacing - the music breaths. Masterful Falch!

Wow, that sax-intro is the best way to catch attention. And then that smooth and soulful jazz continuing. Delicious!
Such a simple set up here with sax, electric piano and very tight drums. And very well mixed.
Of course it finished too soon, but for me it is clear that this is going to be a big hit. Bravo!

What an intro! Brilliant sax playing over an heavy bass laden beat. Lots of passion. The guitar as usual is totally AWESOME! The worst part for me....it ended far to soon. FANTASTIC!!!!

APPLAUSE!!!!
Finally I can listen to a new tune made by Falken!!! :D
Exceptional intro, what a Sax part!! Loved the so good drum section here ( Cobham plugin? ),furthermore the harmonies of the base are to die for.....well developed chord sequences.
So much romantic and coolness at the same time my friend, superb the insert of the "spoken vocals", also masterfully placed into the mix.
Just why I am speaking about Mix, I have to agree with Al, this one is different from you older tracks. And I mean it positvely, I noticed more space and an accurate balance of the instruments involved. The guitar at the end part ( a fabulous work!!), is taken slightly back from the rest of the base, floating between the stereo channels, it is just the perfect choice my friend, sounds so good and sofisticated!!!!
My compliment for an outstandig classy tune, just like I love it, Applause Falken!!! :D

A rich arrangement hosting a wondrous guitar-sax VST sound that is so authentic and captivating. The introduction was killer. I almost fell out of my chair when that came on. Outstanding phrasing.(Wow, I wish I could play that well:)). The soloing is soulful and tasty. The dual playing at the 2:38 mark just blew me away. Amazing!!!!! The track is perfect... great piano chords and a tight back drum beat that I love.
This track's mastering is a bit different than your past masterpieces. It has a more upfront presence...Awesome!!!
And I don't want to forget your extraordinary guitar wizardry at the end. An impeccable winning formula as usual.
You the man cuz beautiful music !
