Story behind the song
Love Will Protect Us was the first song written and recorded by Ruachiah. The hook came from a hard day of school when trying to approach after a girl he admired so much, but didn't have the heart to say everything he wanted. He went home and chanted the song as he got on his knees and prayed for the courage he neeeded. The song started out as a hook and grew into a song, after his choir director and Youth Guidance Teacher at the time Minister Michal. Michal zeal was very hot for the Almighty and he expressed it to the Choir after he seen a man being jumped outside the congregation by a gang of Dead Jacob. He was upset because he felt like we had the knowledge but were not doing what we needed to do, to get the knowledge out and help our Brothers & Sisters. He also said that our Hebrew Israelite music was not being marketed as it should. And after I heard these words it sunk in and that same night I wrote my own song and performed it in front of the congregation. And it became the corner stone for the rest of my music.
