Steve Caustrita is a lifetime musician who, at an early age expressed his love for performing music. A Southern California Native American, whose family is descendants of the California Mission Indians. His parents recognized that desire to play an instrument, bought Steve a new Olds Ambassador Trumpet, and began his formal studies at eight. A music director soon noticed that Steve could score music for a concert band with only his trumpet, and later a Sears Silvertone Organ he saved to buy from a local theater. Don Williams and John F. Hausey continued guiding Steve's talents during his Jr. High and High School years. Throughout his musical career he played and recorded with many popular Los Angeles bands and orchestras, but in the 90s left performing to raise a family. Late into the night the music writing never stopped, Steve began rediscovering that music after his children completed their studies and left home, scoring for short films and music videos soon after. In 2021 with the help of the Smoke Cloud Entertainment family of musicians and vocalists, Steves second album was released. His third album was released in 2024. An eclectic collection of the music genres he enjoys and knows you will too.
