Lyrics
As I Live, And Love, And Die Forever More
C. Paul Evans Pedersen, Jr./Mount Misery Music, BMI
To you, this may seem just a dream,
But in the many lives I've seen,
I've lived and loved and died with all my heart.
A Viking sword took my first life,
And in the arms of my wife,
I whispered, "Hold me close, as I depart..."
Once again I live and love, in a world I've been part of,
For a thousand years and maybe even more.
Death not ends this life, I know,
‘Cause I've watched my spirit grow,
As I live and love and die forevermore...
On a Sunday 'morn in forty-one,
The fires from the Rising Sun,
Rained down upon my (U.S.S.) Arizona home.
And as I left this world again,
Together with a so many friends,
My spirit, freed again, was free to roam.
CHORUS
Today I have a family,
We're living now in Tennessee,
Sharing life and laughter...and a song.
I wonder if they'll ever know,
That as we walk along this road,
What seems a lifetime, doesn't last for long...
CHORUS
