Lyrics
'Our Black Boy'
Where are you now our black boy
Chasing the rainbows in summer
Leaving our heartache behind...
You were our sunshine, our friend
I miss you each morning, each day
You full of love, calm and happy
You learned to love hugs and to play
Sweet angel you'll always be with me
I'll always be near you
My eyes still look for you
You took my joy my precious boy...
Your soul left our arms in the dawn
Crossing the sky to the rainbow
Leaving a space in our home
A piece of my heart has gone with you
You made every friendship your own
Your sweet eyes they smiled in a thank you
Your heart made us whole, made us 'home'
Our love, we will never forget you
I'll always be near you
My eyes still look for you
You took my joy my precious boy...
My heart holds your memory
Sweet love for eternity
Forever close, forever here...
Where are you now our black boy
Chasing the rainbows in summer
Leaving our heartache behind
You were our sunshine, our friend
Where are you now our black boy
Where are you now our black boy...

Magnificent. Touches of the great Roy Orbison for me. I think Maria would have held her own with Roy and that is saying a lot. Beautifully produced, played (the acoustic sure is pretty) and sung music. As good as it gets.
