Story behind the song

Song is based on a paraphrase of Proverbs 7.   I took a number of translations and paraphrases and slightly modernized the words, but kept the context.

1. She spreads her bed with Egyptian cotton
Smells of aromatic spices and perfume fill the room
Come she says Lets drink deeply making love until dawn
Let us delight ourselves with love but then what song?

     The wrong choices, Listening to the wrong voices
     My happiness overrides it all
     First the snare and then the cost

2. Seduced with her persistent pleading
She entices the lure with her flattering lips
And like livestock heading for the slaughter never turns back
Eagerly you bound right into the huntress trap
