Lyrics
A SIMPLE GIFT The sun lit up the meadow Not another soul around I spotted a little stem Rising from the ground I thought the fresh air Would brighten up my mood I sat beside the flower In my solitude And I relaxed As I traced my tracks And let my mind drift Soon my surroundings Found me And this flower Became a simple gift I pushed the snow aside To give it some more room Everything deserves a chance And a place to bloom I marveled at its strength To dare to come alive It’s too cold but I know This flower will survive And I relaxed As I traced my tracks And let my mind drift Soon my surroundings Found me And this flower Became a simple gift
