Story behind the song
This song is a special song to Steve Dav Starbuk. It's Special because this record was recorded in 2007, Starbuk was 19 years, and this is the first time he had ever stepped into the studio to actually record himself. This song was recorded when Starbuk was going through a lot, and you can feel his energy in the song. Anger, intensity, a very emotional piece. Starbuk say's that he was at rock bottom in every possible way, on his way to going insane. Hence fourth the name of the song "Simply Mentally Ill". I guess him writing this song, was his way of blowing off some steam and a way to let people know what he was going through, and also a warning, saying listen, im the wrong dude to fuck with. Even with his inexperience in the booth, the song is official. Steve Dav Starbuk didnt start to record more music until 2016.
