My wife's phone alerts her with various reminders and wakeup alarms. This inspired a song.
I was reminded of these phone alerts when I found this nice little melody on the guitar a while back. I completed the composition. The arrangement intensifies like a phone alert. The title draws on being awakened by a chime and the building activity afterwards. The "D" in the title reflects the key it is played.
