Story behind the song

First recorded in 1939 by the Pine Ridge Boys and subsequently by scores of folks over the years, from Gene Autry and Bing Crosby to Aretha Franklin and Johnny Cash. Also in 1939 by Jimmie Davis, country singer and former Govenor of Louisiana.

Nice to hear someone revive this old American classics!  You did a great job on this track! The back up vocals sit real nice in the mix too.  Such a great sing along song for around the camp fire!  Well done!
