It is sad how neglectful people could actually listen to this, read the lyrics sung - and still be abusive to their pets. Truly a great song Maria and Paul - your vocals emphasize well - and in a cool pop rock feeling. Bravo ;)

I've always wondered why humans think they are so superior to animals, just because they can think up technology. Technology, in the end, may well be the undoing of our species.
This song certainly shines a light on the sad plight of so many BSL victims and it's especially sad at Christmas, a time of supposed "kindness, compassion, and goodwill". I can understand how BSL came to be.. probably a knee jerk reaction to some situation.. but will never understand how it has continued on despite all the opposition and unfairness so very evident in breed specific legislation.
The song is really well written and the arrangement is quite unique... and how you do that after writing 300 other songs I don't know. The production is stellar, with guitar parts that are so subtle and yet join together to weave an enticing, emotional web musically. I also really liked the instrumental outro, which gives the listener time to digest all that has been said. It allows the imagery of lonely, locked up
Life is life and should be respected. It is fragile enough as is. Peace John Unger and Schoep. Great production, lyrics and vocals Maria! Nice guitar Paul - sweet and laid back!
