These are the solo works from Yellow Jumps Twice's founder and creative mind Sebastian Teufel. Songs retelling stories of melancholy, love and inner sights these tunes continue the sound Sebastian created with YJ2, albeit in different layers to the YJ2 style. Seb's acoustic guitar defines and marks out this sonic landscape and the songs speak for themselves.
Sebastian started playing drums in 1977. A few years later he found himself writing his first tunes on an old acoustic guitar. During the years he was playing drums in many bands. As leadsinger and guitarist he founded Yellow Jumps Twice in 2000. All songs are played and recorded by himself. After the release of three albums ("So Much For Promises" / 2009, "Mean Mr. Devil" / 2013 and "The Wooden Doors" / 2016) Sebastian started to record a bunch of new song songs.
I'm playing music since 1977. I started playing drums when I was 13 years old. Did that in several bands until 2000 when I founded my first band as guitarist and leadsinger (Yellow Jumps Twice). I wrote my first tune when I was 15. Picked it up again last year, recorded a new version and released it on my third album. Until the end of 2009 I worked in different studios. When I moved from Frankfurt to Hamburg I built my own studio. All songs are recorded, mixed and mastered by myself.
