Great detuned guitar sound! Your style is definitely heavy metal, but I hear a lot of references to old time heavy rock, especially Black Sabbath. But also bands like Deep Purple and Alice Cooper. Still you end up with your very own powerful rendition of heavy guitar based rock. It makes me wish I still had some hair to headbang with... Love the change at 3:10. Oh, yeah...

Tellin' it like it is here guys...I admire that. Lyrics say it well, especially accompanied by your hard rockin' arrangement. I liked those drums..they sounded doubled at times. Great leads too. The outro really nailed down the coffin lid. Powerful stuff.

Whatever opinion the listener holds of the subject matter, you have created a very powerful, dark and thought-provoking song which conjures vivid imagery. Both the lyrics and the music convey emotion and desperation, and it can be felt throughout the song. Excellent playing, production and performance.

This is a sad, tortured, sick world that allows the ruthless to prey on the misfortune of good people. maybe it's time all the good people got together and dealt with it in a most ruthless manner... and then pray eternal darkness doesn't follow. Excellent music to stir the thoughts and emotions.

As a child my father (a US Army WWII veteran) constantly informed me of how we had it made here - born in the US. Though we worked hard, it was a fair life without the atrocities seen in other lands. Terrible human suffering... Your song displays this pain well Alan and Roger - excellent performance and production surrounding a very sad subject.

Another excellent song with serious message and the fitting heavy rock music/lyrics to underline the serious matter.
