A bluesy Christian song in a typical blues riff kind of way.
Acoustic Guitar, folk/country/blues/ballad. Is that enough?
I am a Christian Singer/songwriter living in Scotland and have home-produced two CDs 'Me and Hymn' and 'Revelation'. My style ranges from folk/country to acoustic blues. My songs are a mixture of praise, self-witness and reflection. I have sold my CDs to family and friends but never shared my music outwith this community.

Story behind the song
Working on the main riff the words Dancin with the Lord sprang into my head. Then I thought about how to extend the metaphor.
Lyrics
DANCIN' WITH THE LORD Early in the mornin' at the the break of dawn I jump outta bed, put my dancin' shoes on My toes start a-tappin' to the rhythm of the day I do shoft-shoe-shuffle and chase the blues away The music in my head strikes a jazzy chord Well glory hallelujah! I'm dancin' with the Lord I'm Dancin' with the Lord X4 The two step, rhumba or rock'n'roll jive I'm dancin' with the Lord just be because I'm alive! Well I dance through the day and into the night I'm waltzin'on air, I'm trippin' the light I don't need a partner, I can dance on my own But it takes two to tango so get you dancin' shoes on People just stare at me, they don't say a word I say "Come on and join me, I'm dancin' with the Lord" CHRS (see above) I'm Dancin' with the Lord X4 The two step, rhumba or rock'n'roll jive I'm dancin' with the Lord just be because I'm alive! Slow dance, fast dance or standin' in line No matter how you're dancin', you're doin' just fine Jesus don't mind, He'll just go with the flow Just tap him on the shoulder, He'll never say no You can dance with a ribbon, a flame or a sword it don't really matter if you're dancin' with the Lord Chrs to fade
