This is Jeff Kratzman's Christian Page. I have two categories one for Secular and one for Christian songs. I've had a lifelong relationship with Christ and not to explore the spiritual side in music, would be foolish. I hope you enjoy the songs and take the time to follow-up on some of the Bible verses that inspired the songs. I welcome all feedback, but unpleasantness will just be deleted. This isn't a forum for theological debate. If you don't want to listen to Christian Music, try the Jeff Kratzman - Songs link. There's another 50 songs there.

Story behind the song
Song is inspired by the passion of Christ and actually being there in that moment. The angry crowd shouting crucify him, the very same ones that needed his forgiveness. Seeing the blood of the Christ drip down on the ground. The same blood that was shed to cover MY sins. Like Salvador Dali's "Jesus Christ Crucified Savior" MY SINS pinned him to that cross, not nails. How can I forget the sacrifice made to reconcile me to a Holy God? How can I passover that God himself came to find me, to mark the one path with a cross?
Lyrics
1. The passion God beaten to his knees Humiliated by angry sinners Who dont want to admit their need Dying In place of me 2. To be present in that moment Where divine blood dripped on the ground A loud cry and a final sigh And a horrible tearing sound (Matt 27:51) The earth quaked and the rocks were split 3. Weve all felt the shadow of that day When we felt that God has forsaken us (Matt 27:40) Redeemed by the sinless one of God, (I Peter 2:22) So that a Holy God could forgive us (1 John 3:15, 1 Peter 1:18-19) So we could have new life 4. How could I live my life and ever forget That sacrifice made for me? To some h ow turn my heart and head Christ dying on the cross of Calvary Eli Eli Lama sabachthani? (Mat 27:46, Psalm 22) 5. He came He suffer and died Buried and on the third day He was raised So our sins could be erased And by His wounds we are healed (Isa 53:1-5 Saved by Mercy, Covered in Grace
