Story behind the song
The looking glass is about how I switch my perception from the external view to my internal view. Example…..I find “seeing is believing” is the external perspective; basing ones expectations on what you see which blinds you from infinite possibilities. While recently I’ve found that “believing is seeing” is the internal perspective opening you up to your personal empowerment. The external view tends to distort my perception of what is; stripping me of my power. When I view the circumstance or situation through the lens of the looking glass I easily miss the present moment. To switch my perception to my internal eyes restores empowerment. What I’ve discovered is that my attention has subconsciously been glazed, damn near phased out by the looking glass and I didn’t even see it. (distraction by external eyes)
