maybe a more "normal" song from the Rabbit crew, mildly progressive and wall-of-sound rocking.

Story behind the song
What's coming? who knows. What happened? it's moot. A relationship song filled with guess work and misunderstanding. But also an us-against-them component... and in the end, optimism.
Lyrics
All of the days we failed to see the light And you and I prepare to stand and fight for all of the tears And what gives them the right to take it away in the middle of the night When everything is not in black and white… And there’s always something better And there’s always something new And there’s always something you and I would never choose to do And there’s always something there to break your little heart in two And there’s always something clever And there’s always something true A wall around your heart that I’ll never penetrate ‘Cause the blues and the greens all begin to fade to black, In the darkness, it’s another chance to play with our dreams and fears, As we hope to make the grade We try but we can no longer stand up straight… And there’s always something clever And there’s always something true And there’s always something constant that appears out of the blue And there’s always something there to break your little heart in two And there’s always something better And there’s always something new All I want is you and I to try to see it through… A chemistry within, an enemy without A history of sin to plant the seed of doubt There’s always something special That cannot come too soon And there’s always one that lingers just outside our field of view And there’s always something there to break that little heart of yours in two It’s always unexpected And there’s always something new

Excellent job you guys. I especially love the guitar sound, very meaty and wide. The vocals are top class and the tune is catchy and interesting, with it's rock opera breaks. The outro is fantastic, great vocals and guitar and the drums are so well done all the way. Progrock at it's very best! A favourite for sure :)

And yes the "wall-of-sound rocking" is without doubt there!!!! :) How many energy and creativity in this song, the singularity of the song (I mean "absolutely new", own character) is a proof of your great music talent Matt and Bill. You should seriously think about to send a demo to a producer or whoever else can make it..... you rule my friends, you belong in the professional music scene worldwide!!! There is no need to mention the top shelf quality/composition, it is so clear to understand it and I agree with all the previous comments. I just wish to say that you both impressed me once again with a perfect work, not my preferred among your previous, my most loved is still your "Orbit", but granted a prisitine performance and high value work: RESPECT, RESPECT!!!! -Spin-

You guys are taking prog rock to entirely new level of imagination and sophistication. Superb arrangement that interweaves creative musical segments. Especially enjoyed the powerful guitar riff part starting at 3:48 mark to 4:36. Overall, a definite barricade of sonic phenomenon that constantly intrigues this listener’s ear. Bravo Guys. Another AWSOME collaboration that electrify.

Wow, intro knocked me off my chair! Different for RR but still cool. Very cool guitar work throughout. Great vocal track and vocal fxs. Goose bumps and hair raising guitar at 3:48! Awesome music, arrangement and production!
