**The Legend of Eric Heisman and The Formation: **Hey all, I am Eric Heisman. I was born and raised in the good ol' United States and I love traveling. I work at a hardware store here in Texas and in my spare time, I write a song er two. When I roll, I generally hit the road with my buddy George Hanson, we been to Mexico and all over, but you can usually find us in New Orleans come Mardi Gras. George is a lawyer, but he spends most his time d'fendin' poor schlubbs who drink too much, like George, and paradin' without permission. George and I put this little thing together because we love spreadin' good vibes better than peanut butter. And we love peanut butter! The first tune I ever wrote was an epic story called "Swamp". It's a nice joint about what talkin' frogs might say if'n you ever find yourself talkin' to frogs at night. We wrote it in metaphor, of course, since the one thing I don't do is spend a great deal o' time talkin' to frogs at night. Swamp!**

Story behind the song
Ok, I hadn't recorded in some time, this is the second new song to come off the recorder recently. This one was recorded like I did years ago, two takes for the guitar and vocal track, one take for the feedback and one take for the theremine. I started strumming and blurting out words and this came together with little editing. The point was to record as I had just set up the studio. It is super basic chords, likely a rip-off, apologies and any due credit is unintentionally omitted here. I just tried to play the pattern in a way that didn't remind me of anything. The theremine was recently purchased and this song is the first to feature that instrument. I had it on a saw tooth pattern, so it may sound different here.
Lyrics
My laughter fogs the window pane. Sunbursts through a week of cloudy days. Yellow splashed on every gray. A caricature of every breath. I get the paper from time to time. The pictures dissolve into pools of dots. Some words stay out there forever, some trail off in fantastic thoughts. ... j gillis
