Just another singer/songwriter. I play all my own instruments (except drums) and record on a Boss BR1200CD standalone multi-track recorder
Just an old Back To The Land hippie that stuck to his plan.

This has an Old in the Way Garcia feel to it. Love the mountain atmosphere. Wonderful!

Saw your comments over at Gabes and mentioned being in a dry place and nothing like doing covers to get the juices flowing and not to mention the sheer enjoyment and I can hear your enjoyment on this. Just straight forward good acoustic listening. Nice Job.

Hey Charlie, Did some browsing today and always stop by here. (The coolest of cats) here on soundclick. Well I was not disappointed by the least. Very haunting and emotional performance! 5 star material with no exaggeration. JD
A great rendition, fits like an old shoe. Quite a treat, Charlie.

A Neil Young vibe in there at times. Very nice vocals and guitar work. A great folk track Charlie!

A terrific bluegrass song that is a gem charlie. Your vocal performance is pure gold. I never heard the original ( just found it on YouTube). I think your version is the best. Sensational singing...artistically delicious.

I'm on board with the gentlemen that have already commented, great version, full of authenticity, large in its simplicity. acoustic sounds great, the bass does the job and sounds full. the vocals are real and down to earth....in short, its back porch fine. get me a beer and toss another log on the campfire.

Did someone say bluegrass? This type of high & lonesome tune is your specialty. I thought I was listening to Neil Young there for a minute. You two must be brothers from different mothers. Realy nice, Pinedog. I just love it!

Very nice version of this song my friend. I will go the extra step and say that I enjoyed this better than the movie version. Nice!
