Story behind the song
In 1967, The Rolling Stones put out an album called "Their Satanic Majesties Request", and on that album is a song called, "2000 Man".
As a child, I heard this song, and, not noticing the possible prophetic overtones, I liked it.
Then, in 1977, having moved to Florida, Me, Bing, and Jimmy, (some of my brothers), were in the garage, in Coquina Sands, and, thinking about this old Stones' song, I wrote "2000 Man On Strike".
