Featuring: Aloka, Karmabend & Alpha One Omega. From the album, "The Destruction Of Something Beautiful". One of my VERY favorite tunes originally from "The Tea Leaves Saga" circa 2014. Recorded in Texas, Florida, Australia & Arizona.

Decaying Orbit is an experimental, unorthodox, highly diverse & genre-splitting band from Texas led by their infamous front man Mike Ash. "No, this music's not about that, it's not about sound quality, it's about passion." - Mike Ash. Decaying Orbit is produced by their label, Decaying Enterprises Productions and has released many studio albums since they formed in 2008, after the violent break up of the Psychedelic Rock band, Strangefire, of which Mike was the former front man. Decaying Orbit believes in unadulterated musical & creative freedom, Mike describes their music as a "cathartic purge" or "nervous break downs caught on tape.". The band believes that creating music is a sacred, spiritual and magical art form brought to them by the Muses, wraiths and demons hidden just beyond the veil between the worlds of the physical and spiritual realms. Decaying Orbit has traveled beyond the veil and into the realms of the spirits, only to reemerge, like a caterpillar from it's cocoon emerging as a beautiful butterfly, so does Decaying Orbit get reborn through the fire of their cacophonous tunage. The band believes in complete freedom of lifestyle, I.E. sexuality, religion, spirituality, drugs, manner of dress etc. They believe that music is an interstellar language that needs no translation to be understood by absolutely anyone. It's the passion behind the emotions found in the music that matters to Decaying Orbit, they believe that integrity is more important than fortune or fame. This is our Decaying Orbit & we do hope that you will N'Joy tha' show!!!!

Story behind the song
The spoken-word part of this song was recorded while in a dex black out in 2014, I recorded it using my MP3 player's voice recorder. Then Aloka came in and added her ambiance to it, using Alpha One Omega's backdrop to give the song even more otherworldly atmosphere. This song is originally a part of Decaying Orbit's "The Tea Leaves Saga", released in 2014 in bouts & spurts before being officially released in 2015 online. this tune seemed like the absolutely perfect way to open up the album, with it's silent intro that slowly builds to a crescendo in it's own given time. Anyhoo, I do hope you N'Joy The Empty Destruction.
Lyrics
mischief loves company, dark, twisted resurrection, this empty state of mind, sharing your creation, embracing the limits of your own seeking, choosing to expand when born... so cold, surprise return, I am you lucky fuckers, a cosmic head rush... these head games collide, we love freely, fortune favors the bold, it really, really does! so just ride out the storm on illegal skateboards, you know, all the bad & the scary & the sex & the barium, I am the empty destruction, the anger, the self expression, the nightmares.... sometimes when I think about it, I just forget it..... Excellent track from you guys, modern sounds but with an old style feel, I could imagine something similar on a Doors album if Jim had been with us in 2016.
