If it's hot then give God the glory. If it's not then blame Mitch.
I'm Joe Johnson a local United Methodist Pastor. Before I felt God calling me into the ministry I thought I was going to be a rap artist. For 8 years I did nothing with music until my wife introduced me to a group called "The Gospel Gansters" in 1998. It was an eye opening experience. I was amazed to see people using rap for the glory of God. That day I picked up paper and pen and I haven't put it down yet.

Lyrics
Least of These This morning I prayed, Lord show me your face Be with me as I go every place Amen. I said with a sigh But I missed it when he replied (he said) When you do it - unto the least of these, It’s Just like you doing it unto me But when you turn your back on the one’s in need. (back on the ones in need) It’s like your turning your back on me. (turning your back on me) I’m the least of these I’m the least of these When you turn your back on the one’s in need. It’s like your turning your back on me. I’m the least these Such a beautiful day decide to walk to church I saw a man up in the streets bleeding and hurt He said Help me with blood on his nose I started worrying about him getting blood on my clothes And How’s it going to look me going to church a mess? Don’t believe God wants us to come in nothing but our best And I aint never missed a Sunday worship service I Hate he got beat up, but hey he probably deserved it. And tell me hows this my problem I’m sure theres someone who cares. Well he should call them So walk on the other side to church is what I do But as I passed him by I holler “I’ll be praying for you.” (Chorus short) Made it to church in plenty of time But somebody was sitting in the seats that’s mine (hold up) I looked them up and down and held my nose He wore some ripped up dirty old stinky clothes (gross) I said, “excuse me, but what you think your about to do?” He said, “I came to church today just to worship with you.” (Ha Ha) Sir I you must got this twisted, There’s a church for you somewhere, but it aint this I pointed back “I aint trying to get rid a you But theres the doors on the way out don’t let it hit you. I Can’t believe he came to our church in clothes that stink If Jesus were here what would he think. Chorus Short) I get filled with the spirit every time church meets Now I’m bout to get my fill up at the all you can eat (Glory) A huge plate, as I bow to say grace. I Thank the Lord for his bounty, and then I notice a face (what) Starting at me through the window straight It’s a homeless woman wondering will I share my plate. (come on) She looking at me, our eyes couldn’t help meeting So I turned my chair around from her and keep on eating. This morning I prayed, Lord show me your face Be with me as I go each and every place Amen. I said with a sigh But missed it when he replied When you do it unto the least of these, It’s Just like you doing it unto me But when you turn your back on the one’s in need. It’s like Your turning your back on me. I’m the least, That night the Lord visited me in a dream He said depart from me. I said, “What do you mean?” He said, “I was a stranger and you wouldn’t help I was naked you laughed, hungry you helped yourself!” I said NO NO Lord I’d ever ignore you In fact I spent my whole day out looking for ya. Please tell Lord when did I see you in such need He said, “When you saw but wouldn’t help the least of these.” (I’m the least of these) Written by Joseph Johnson Music by dasoulolife Updated version 10-21-14
