Story behind the song
Act 3 The parents meet at one of their houses the morning of the day after the children ran away. They have searched all night for the children and are tired and upset that they have not found them. They regret their actions the day before which caused the children to run away. They wish the children could understand how hard it is to be parents. They sing the seventh song of the musical.
