All them country girls they all got their charm Could've settled on their daddy's farm I like the fishing, I like the birds and the bees and in the moonlight sleeping under the trees But I took a trip, now I'm in a flip and a social whirl It ain't no sin that I've fallen in with a city girl Inst. Drive an old John Deere and I plough the land Couldn't get a job in a bank Now my old dodge truck always treats me right So me and my girl's going country tonight I'm not looking for any love, any old how Those good time girls ..... hollow victories now But I took a trip, now I'm in a flip and a social whirl It ain't no sin that I've fallen in with a city girl There ain't no doubt I left the rural route for a city girl She's a big thing and all my kin love the city girl .... yeah a city girl
