A bawdy drinking song in the Irish tradition co-written by Bill Clanfield, yours truly and Joan Neeno and performed by the GoDeans.
irish irish fiddle
The music is original, creative and from the heart. I hope you have as much fun listening as I had making it. Thanks for tuning in. Keep fighting the good fig
'Perfusion' is the moniker for this one-man musical juggernaut. I record all of my own material in the basement, after the kids are asleep! One track has a female backing vocal but all the rest is just l'il ol me. About 2/3 of the songs were done using Studio One - 3 and ProTools computer based software and the others on the Boss BR 1180 free-standing workstation. In 2015 and 2016, string orchestra pieces I wrote were features in the season with the Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra. In 2011 I was honored to receive the Janesville Arts Council People's Choice Award for Outstanding CD/Song for "I Married the Prom Queen"...

Lyrics
Erin Go Braugh Shes a fine and comely lass When shes hoisting up a glass You know just where the partys going to start All the guys will sit and witness As they drink their pints of Guiness And on the 17th of March youll hear them say Erin go braless The beer has all turned green Erin go braless Someone needs to make a scene Erin go braless Well join into the fray Erin go braless On a cold St. Patricks Day How I love the rolling hills and Wearin' of the green, And eatin' boiled potatoes on the Road to Limerick town, But when she's River Dancing on the River Owenroe, A lilting tune runs through my head, And this is how it goes... When you want to take a nip Knock it back and take a tip, The girls will shake their heads in pissed dismay If she drinks a whiskey shot She'll show you what she's got And the blokes at the bar will shout hooray
