Make Up (sax)

The subject is being reconciled. This is a person to person, horizontal making up with each other. Although God isn't mentioned, the song is biblical (see Matt 5:24, Luke 12:55).

Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
This song was written fairly fast, though the rewrite took long.
Lyrics
Make Up Please let me make up for the things that I've said Things said in haste Oh, what a waste And let me make right all the words I regret It's my mistake Is it too late? Chorus: I'm sorry, It's not just politeness in thought I'm sorry, I do owe you more than a lot I'm sorry Oh, let me make up, can you still be my friend? I won't accuse I won't blame you Give me a second chance, if you will forgive Help us restore What was before (chorus) Yes, let me make up, please don't take me to court Do what I must, I'll make it just Don't let your anger flame to burn up our bridge I'll pay my debt Even by sweat (chorus) David Davis copyright 2014 http://postadavisongs.50webs.com/MakeUp.html
