I eagerly agreed when Howie asked me if I wanted to record something. We recorded this on4-5-2014. He mixed and uploaded it on4-12-2014. He died on 4-19-2014 This is the final gift from my beloved friend Howie Fritz!

I have been writing, Performing, and recording original blues and country songs with jazz, rock and gospel flavors since 1988 and recently recorded my 2nd CD
Howie enjoyed having me tell stories to some new experimental lick that he was working on. This is a telling of a true story in my life, Howie's music drawing it out of me as dark poetry.

I said to myself, "you shouldn't be doing this Marshall"

(The dark irony is that I had written the last line to be "there goes your life, but it came out as written above during the recording)
