Story behind the song
I wrote this song in 1999 after I dedicated my life to the service of Jesus, Our Savior. It is dedicated to all Christians but especially to the Pastor and Assistant Pastor of Highland United Methodist Church in Odessa, Texas USA. When the song of praise was written, these pastors were Dr. David Z. Ring III and Rev. Johann Neethling, respectively; and they were largely responsible for causing me to rededicate my life to Christian service, especially to the music of the Church.

Verse 1 Jesus is my Savior, (repeated 3 times) And He can be your savior too. Verse 2 When He calls me I will answer, (3 times also) Lord, what would you have me do? Verse 3 Where He leads me I will follow, (3 times also) Won't you follow Him too? (The arrangement heard here is performed ad libitum, and I am playing my Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster guitar capoed at the 5th fret and played in the key of D which makes the actual key you hear, the key of A, basically.)
