Man this is a stone age track.LOL! It's a 4 track demo I made for a sista
named KIMBU back in 93 or 94. Back then the thought of the average computer
user recording music was still a dream. I found this on a cd a few weeks ago
and decided to include it. The production does'nt compare but the "vibe" does.
This was done with a Roland Mc50 midi sequencer chase-locked to a
Tascam 4track, and Roland GR50 guitar synthesizer for the bassline.
The rythm guitar parts were played thru a Zoom 9030 unit. The drum machine
is the old trusted Alesis SR-16. I just setup a Shure sm57 mic in the
front room of my place and she sang it in one take.
It came out okay but man if I could redo this with the tools I have today...
