Story behind the song
My second experiment with Apple's GarageBand yielded this song after playing about with a really good drum loop, done up in an afternoon. Best way to describe it is if AC/DC decided to do a Booker T and The MGs type arrangement, with Satch on lead guitars and Fat Boy Slim at the mixing desk. Honestly, it sounds more interesting than that description! :) UPDATE! : recently I took another listen and realized there was too much compression in the mastering process - so I wound up doing both a remix and recorded new parts. It's now a bit grungier, deeper bottom end, and new solos that contrast more. Host: Cubase SE. drums: Apple Loops in Garageband, bass: Dreibelbass through Johnson J-Station, rhythm guitars and first solo: Horizon II through J-Station, second solo and Pagey stabs: Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special ST through J-Station.
