Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

This is an OUTSTANDING collab, Carlo and Jon! The intro drums and immediate following instrumentations are a wonderful hook into the rest of this highly creative song. This was one of the very best of the Celtic songs for the CBC Challenge.

Oh yeah this is really great - it has that wonderful sense of barely restrained madness that personified the best 60s psychedelia and you and Jon work together so well to deliver it. Are we sure this isn't a lost Syd and Ringo side project? Druids are, like, wow man. Dig?

Magical track with a great melody line. I love the strangeness of the change at around 2:00. Fantastic vibe and excellent drums from Jon.

The main chord progression on this is a real treat, quite inspiring! Jon's ever-inventive drumming is particularly great here.
And the madness in the middle brings a giant smile.

What can be more celtic than a tale of druids? You can almost see the gathering in a clearing in the woods, one night when the moon is just right, dancing and chanting, doing their magic. Jon's drumming sounds divine on this, what a great collab between 2 such great artists!
