Some may say, this song is more for children, not adults. I say, it is for all who want to be happy, all ages, young or old. This song is a happy song. It will make you smile, maybe, even laugh or giggle. ha-ha-ha

Story behind the song
I gave music lessons on mainly, guitar. I thought it might be fitting that my students would enjoy some original songs and music, to play on their instrument. So "A Hasppy Song" became to be. Hope you all like this song, and m,aybe, sing along.
Lyrics
I’m gonna write a happy song Hoping you might sing along Maybe it will brighten up your day yea-yea-yea Well, it only takes a smile And in a little while You will want to sing, mm-mm-mm The whole day throu-ou-ou It doesn’t cost a penny But it makes good common sense To enjoy yourself by singing So let the bells keep ringing I’m gonna write a happy song Hoping you might sing along Maybe it will brighten up your day yea-yea-yea Well, it only takes a smile And in a little while You will want to sing, mm-mm-mm The whole day throu-ou-ou There’s no need to worry It won’t get you anywhere So dry your tears, try not to pout Why not let it all hang out I’m gonna write a happy song Hoping you might sing along Maybe it will brighten up your day yea-yea-yea Well, it only takes a smile And in a little while You will want to sing, mm-mm-mm The whole day throu-ou-ou When you’re sad and lonely And there’s nothing left to do Think of me, and sing my song What else could you do that’s wrong I’m gonna write a happy song Hoping you might sing along Maybe it will brighten up your day yea-yea-yea Well, it only takes a smile And in a little while You will want to sing, mm-mm-mm The whole day throu-ou-ou
