Story behind the song
This song was originally intended to be released on the Torchlight Creek album Guardians of Eternity 10 years ago. The album was never completed; instead most of the tracks were reworked into Shrouded Day and Soulwire solo albums and a few were shelved to await their soulful moment in the shrouded sky.
Lyrics
As you kneel in the bitter rain, back broken in defeat, the world a rude stranger passing you in the night, hope a cold, distant star, remember that we stand with you. Remember that we will never leave you behind.
