Beautiful arrangement and very unique song for the CBC Ancient Egypt Song Challenge. The vocals by Irene are, as usual, tremendous, and the instrumentation/production by Rod/Others are superb. Thanks for the song pleasure and the dl.

This really blew me away. I didn't expect this approach, but the blend of sheering guitars, string and piano themes, mixed with the absolutely brillant vocal performance, creates a very beautiful chaos, that would make a fantastic soundtrack. The sound effects add the flavour to a greatly performed track!

There was a challenge this month? Hmm... Well, this is quite a mysteriously composed song Rod and Irene! I believe Queen Cleopatra would enjoy thoroughly. Beautiful melody and expert production - Bravo!

This song was definitely one of the highlights of the challenge for me. A great collaboration and a unique take on the theme. Sound effects that enhance, not overwhelm, and an adventurous spirit.

Irene says you two "make a good lil team" and yes, right, perfect combination between music and vocals, I always appreciated your collabs and this time too: modern arrangement lying in an arabian/egyptian subtle melody underlined with the sweet voice modulations of GoldenVoice!! great job you two!! :) :)

Such a nice start here, that shouting voice. It's catching the attention from the first moment on.
At 0:25 I recognize your typical style which nobody COULD imitate.
Irene is coming as well. Everything has got a very psychedelic atmosphere.
At 0:54 it's changing completely. You think there is coming a song, but that's not true. Chaos is staying. It's like the song is consisting out of little pieces.
It makes me think of the revolution there, at a moment that nobody knows what to think or to do, in panic.
This is something special.

Very neat intro…Love the quick buildup. The arrangement is extremely well done...nice fx, and Irene’s vocals are breathtaking as always. I really like the thunder and rain effects. Very tasteful. Thanks for sharing this beautiful composition you two. You guys continue to have the magic of making beautiful music together.

Love everything about this, so much here, lots of thought and care went into this, cool drums, sweet keys, texture rich AND heavy guitars. Amazing and relaxed vocal additions, just perfect.
